As a painter who is inspired by the beauty of the Maine landscape, I enjoy testing the balance of reality and abstraction in my original expressionistic acrylic paintings. They are often mistaken for oil paintings because of their softness and tonal depth. I tend to paint the world the way I sense it, as much or more than the way I see it. On these pages I share my own particular feeling for a world whose beauty amazes me every day I live here.
